Spotted – Tata Light Specialist Vehicle, Mahindra Axe’s rival (with extra images)

Tata Motor ‘s High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle (HMMWV) called the Light Specialist Vehicle (LSV) has been spotted in Leh. Tata’s new tactical high mobility vehicle would be on the lines of India’s first HMMWV, the Mahindra Axe. The vehicle was first showcased at the 2008 Defence Expo in New Delhi.

Knoko Couch combines different modules to form a seating

Developed by young Austrian designer Alexander Knoor, the “Knoko Couch” is essentially a bunch of modules that the users can arrange to form a sofa with easy configurations. Connected by a plug-in system, the modules features demountable cushions, which when damaged can be replaced with another cushion. Fiat to launch Punto Adventure in Portugal

Fiat will be launching a new variant of its Punto hatchback in the Portuguese market. The new variant has been dubbed the Adventure and it is powered by a 1.6 litre, 16-valve, E.torQ Petrol engine, which can also run on a blend of Petrol and Ethanol.

Spied – Reva NXR in Bangalore

Spied while undergoing testing on the outskirts of Bangalore by our reader Tarun Kumar Tripathy, this Reva NXR is a Left Hand Drive model. The car was traveling at a very moderate speed (you can’t expect an EV to take you on the inside on a sharp right-hander, can you?) and was on one of its routine test runs. The car is a two-door, four seater, all-electric car just like the current Reva city car.

99designs Champions Win Gold for Australia

Hot off the back of their recent Webby award , two members of the team from 99designs were instrumental in winning gold for Australia, as the Codaroos took out this year’s annual FullCodePress international website-in-a-day competition. In the Wellington Town Hall at 4pm this afternoon, the FullCodePress judging panel announced that the website the Codaroos had built for their client, Lions Hearing Dogs , had been unanimously voted to be the winner, beating out Team USA’s Timaru Mental Health Support Trust website and the Te Hua Rangatahi website built by New Zealand’s CodeBlacks
