Show and Tell : Proof of Concept or Suggestion!

I suggested that each section in the newsletter could be a blog post (more timely, feedback) this way the newsletter becomes a digest of the blog posts over the last month, that is presented in newsletter style In another example I put together a presentation on some recommendations on how social tools can continue the conversation after an event, and how the presenters could have blogged their monthly happenings and roadmaps in a blog as a pre-cursor to the presentation …but Previously I posted on the ability for the bottom-up use of free-hosted tools as a way to bypass the usual channels to try something out…basically you don’t need permissions…this may sound anarchistic, but it’s simply true…people may not pay attention to their rogue behaviour for long, all they see is that they are able to work more productively.

A New Trend In Web Development Industry

Though the intricacies of web development industry have increased manifolds from the past, it is still dominated by two schools of thought that often clashed with each other because of their ideological differences. One of them are purists who are vocal supporters of using standard rules, whereas the other group comprises those who are not quite serious about developing a website in a systematic or planned way

Flash Works On Touch-Based Devices (Video)

Several people have been making assertions that most Flash sites will not work properly on touch-based devices because these sites use rollovers or hovers for things like effects and navigation. Well I put together this little video together showing that Flash sites do indeed work the way you would expect since the Flash Player dispatches rollover events even on a touch screen.

Blog>> A Storytelling Conference Fuelled by Stories

We have some wonderful speakers from near and far, including Victoria Ward as keynote, noted authors Terrence Gargiulo and David Drake, and presenters who have worked with stories within their organisations to effect change: the Asian Development Bank, the Ritz Carlton, the Singapore Armed Forces, to name but a few. Only Victoria’s keynote will be in a traditional presentation format, and even that is going to be full of stories. I’m very excited to be involved with Shawn Callahan and the International Storytelling Festival in organising Asia’s first storytelling conference Origins: Asia Pacific Business Narrative Conference .

Carole King’s Silvery-Blue, Embossed, Foil Stamped Letterpress Business Cards

Photos by Pablo Abuliak My friend Carole King and I were best friends in the first grade. When we reconnected after many years of not knowing what the other was doing, it was such a deep, old, sweet, special relationship that got reestablished that it fills my heart up every time I think of it. She asked me to make some business cards for her educational psychology practice that would incorporate the design of her wedding ring.
