Yardley Hypothetical Redesign

New work from Here Design and The Futurelab : “This was a hypothetical project to redesign Yardley that we worked on in collaboration with The Futurelab. The intention with the design was to revisit Yardley’s glory days in the 1920s and 30s, when it moved with the times and started trends rather than followed them – it was an aspirational, innovative and sensual brand.  We chose to revive and continue Yardley’s original design philosophy with innovative Corian and glass packaging structures, a clean and elegant brand marque and use of original British textile designs.” Such an improvement over Yardley’s current packaging! OrangeBeautiful Letterpress Cards packaging

Emily from OrangeBeautiful sent in this packaging for their Lattice Line of letterpress cards: “Since a lot of the greeting card packaging tends to be soft-fold clear plastic boxes, our letterpress-printed, die-cut paper boxes seem to be standing out in the market. They’re both a better-looking box for merchandising, and a more eco-conscious way of packaging due to the materials & production used AND the fact that customers can keep their cards in the box rather than tossing the packaging once they’ve gotten the product home!” See a few more after the jump.
