Free 12-Gauge Shell

Good news Thursday May 20th is my 4-year anniversary to my sweet wife so in celebration we’re giving away a free shotgun shell clip. No, we didn’t have a “shotgun-wedding” but we do shoot some of the extra toaster overs. This high-resolution clip comes pre-keyed in 2-versions for fast or slow-motion; it also loops seamlessly.

The second is whether or not Flash (or any middleware platform) should be used to create apps for Apple’s App Store

Flash Works On Touch-Based Devices (Video)

Several people have been making assertions that most Flash sites will not work properly on touch-based devices because these sites use rollovers or hovers for things like effects and navigation. Well I put together this little video together showing that Flash sites do indeed work the way you would expect since the Flash Player dispatches rollover events even on a touch screen.

Historically, it’s common for URLs with a trailing slash to indicate a directory, and those without a trailing slash to denote a file: http://example.com/foo/ (with trailing slash, conventionally a directory) http://example.com/foo (without trailing slash, conventionally a file) But they certainly don’t have to.

Help Google index your videos

Webmaster Level: All The single best way to make Google aware of all your videos on your website is to create and maintain a Video Sitemap . Video Sitemaps provide Google with essential information about your videos, including the URLs for the pages where the videos can be found, the titles of the videos, keywords, thumbnail images, durations, and other information. The Sitemap also allows you to define the period of time for which each video will be available.
